Founded in 2005, Interfood has built its reputation on delivering premium, preservative-free lunches to homes and offices across Budapest, its suburbs and – under the e-food brand – the rest of Hungary. Our brief was to replace a patchwork of legacy tools with a single, end-to-end web application that could handle every aspect of their daily duties.

What we built

• Multi-week meal planner – Customers can browse more than 100 daily dishes, then pre-select lunches for any number of days in the coming weeks.
• Powerful filters & dietary tags – Dishes can be narrowed by category (soups, mains, desserts), special menus such as the low-carb D1–D15 range, allergen flags or calorie targets, making it easy to curate a personalised plan in seconds.
• Favourite highlighting – A one-click ★ lets returning guests pin meals they love; favourites are surfaced first on later visits, shortening the reorder journey.
• Seamless checkout – The platform supports every payment method Interfood offers—online bank cards, OTP/MKB/K&H SZÉP cards, cash on delivery and corporate voucher integration—while enforcing the company’s low minimum-order value and free-delivery thresholds.
• Operational cockpit – Administrators maintain menu rotations, prices, delivery zones and nutritional labels in a single dashboard, with real-time order analytics feeding the kitchen and logistics teams.
